• 1kg (2 lbs) chicken breast, diced • 50 ml rapeseed oil • 12g salt • 1.5g turmeric • 100g fresh tomatoes (blended or grated), excess water removed • 2g ground black pepper • 15ml lemon juice • 150g Greek yoghurt • 15ml saffron water - Serve with saffron rice and mast o khair
1. Mix the chicken with half the turmeric, salt, oil and lemon juice 2. Mix the yoghurt, tomatoes, saffron water, turmeric and black pepper 3. Mix all together, marinade for at least 4 hours
