• 3 Chicken drumsticks • Gochujang 1 tablespoon • shoaxing wine 1 cup • light soy sauce 2 tbsp • dark soy sauce 1 tbsp • dried chili • 2 garlic gloves • scallions • star anise 1 tsp • 1 cinnamon stick - Rice and veg
1. Sear the drumsticks until golden brown on all sides. 2. Add a tablespoon of Gochujang and stir fry until fragrant. 3. Add Chinese cooking wine, light and dark soy sauce, dried chili, garlic, scallions, star anise, and cinnamon sticks. 4. Add enough water to cover 2/3 of the chicken, and let it braise for about an hour, flipping halfway through. 5. Serve with rice.
